
Clubs and Organizations
Student Council
The purpose of the student council is to give students an opportunity to develop leadership by organizing and carrying out school activities and service projects. In addition to planning events that contribute to school spirit and community welfare, the student council is the voice of the student body.
Student Council Elected Positions:
- President:- "The Leader": Plans and conducts meetings; appoints committee chairs and members; works hard to keep people active and involved; works with the Council Advisor, Head of School, and other officers.
- Vice-President:-"The Mover": The chief assistant to the President; runs meetings when the President is absent; heads important committees.
- Playground Commissioner: -"The Equipment Manager": Handles playground related issues; promotes use of the playground equipment in a positive manner.
- Secretary: -"The Recorder": Takes the minutes of the meetings; takes attendance at the meetings.
- Treasurer: -"The Money Manager": Keeps track of student council funds; consults with the school secretary about finances involving the council.
- Sergeant At Arms:-"The Messenger": Calls council members to meetings; delivers messages to faculty and staff and school about activities involving the council.
Student Council meets once a month.
Yearbook Club
Upper cohort students can apply to be a part of the Yearbook Club, Yearbook club members work with Faculty/Staff advisors to create Courage's annual yearbook.

This club meets multiple times each month.

Run/Walk Club
Upper cohort students can join the morning run/walk club. Club members meet twice a week before school to do activities in the school parking lot as well as in a nearby community. The focus of this club is to get active and build community. Club members complete a 5K and other optional weekend events. This club is sponsored by a Courage parent and Faculty/Staff member.
Student registration is required.
This club meets for 8 weeks in the fall and another session may be added in the spring.
Wiggles with Mrs. Weber
Lower cohort students can register to meet with Courage's School Nurse, Mrs. Weber before school in Courage's Movement Room and outdoor play space to complete structured movement activities to get their brains ready to engage in academics.
Student registration is required.
This club has a maximum of 10 students.
This club meets for 8 weeks in the fall and another session may be added in the spring.
